How can you get most from waxing hair removal?
Waxing is one favorable method for hair
removal for both women and men. One benefit of waxing is that it can be done at
home for better privacy. If you like, you can also visit a professional salon
since waxing has become a popular program in the salon. If you turn to waxing
as your hair removal option, it is important to know the waxing process and
follow the guidelines to avoid side effects.
Waxing is a process which can remove the
hair from the body and its result is perfect. The waxing lasts a long period of
time; generally this period is between four to eight weeks. The result is
different from person to person since the skin and hair growth rate can also
affect the result.
If you plan to do it at home, you have to
be careful during the home waxing procedure. Before the procedure, you have to
read the attached instructions and make sure you can follow them. In the
instructions, the time should be followed strictly. Hair removal waxes should
be heated before use, you have to check the temperature of wax through a small
test patch.
The area to be waxed should be dry.
Firstly, you place a thin layer of wax onto the area which needs waxing. The
application direction should be the same direction of hair growth. Place the nonwoven strips paper over the area shown in the instructions.
When the strip is removed, the pulling
direction should be the opposite direction of hair growth. The pulling motion
should be as fast as possible. With this, the waxing pain can be minimized.
Repeat this process to remove the hair left. You need to practice it for
several times until you get the best result. Although waxing is ideal for each
skin type and hair condition, the hair should be at least 1/4 inch. If you hair
length is longer than 1/4 inch, you have to trim it into the proper length
before the waxing procedure. Do not wax on your damaged skin since it make it
even worse than before.
After waxing treatment, there are some tips
you have to follow. You have to remove the excess wax left on your skin. You
should not touch your skin with dirty fingers. Skin irritation is possible.
Please wear the loose and cotton clothes so
that waxed area would not get skin infections. Also, you should avoid skin tan
and sun burn since your sensitive skin would be hurt.
